You know, I know what Stephen King said about television. His fiction creeps me the heck out, so I don't read that, but I read his book on writing. Spoiler alert! He did not have nice things to say about television.
But, me? I'm certifiable. I love television. I love movies. I always have. It wasn't until recently that I understood why. I think I love them because they're stories. And the great shows and movies? They're just great stories.
Like the kind that I'd like to tell.
You should have seen me last fall feverishly scanning the guide and setting the DVR for all the shows that looked even remotely interesting. And now that the season is winding down and all my favorites, new and old, are drawing to a close.
Just an overview, my favorites Castle, Blue Bloods, Hawaii 5-0, and Criminal Minds have been renewed. Also renewed: my passionate loves Marvel television Agent Carter and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Cancelled: Forever - this made me cry real tears. I loved this show. Also, Bad Judge, which made my skin crawl and was the very first show that I ever cancelled from our DVR. It was that bad.
Thankfully, there's plenty on Netflix and I have a to be read pile that doubles as a nightstand waiting for summer re-run season.
